Saturday’s Spring Family Carnival was a joyful celebration for our school community - with bounce houses and slides, games, prizes, and tasty concessions bringing big smiles all around! Reese 6–12 students recently had the opportunity to hear from former University of Michigan football player, Will Heininger, during a special Mental Health Awareness Assembly- brought to life by our Peer 2 Peer Connect Club through a U of M grant! At Reese Middle/High School, student well-being is a top priority. Every student is connected with a “trusted adult” who is SafeTALK and/or ASIST trained, ensuring support is always close by. Mrs. Burnham also has a QR code on her door that students can scan if they ever need someone to talk to. Peer 2 Peer Connect members are also here to support classmates - because no one should ever feel alone. And all students have access to resources like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and OK2SAY to report concerns for themselves or others. #RocketsSoarTogether #MentalHealthMatters

We’re still talking about it - Donkey Basketball had a packed house and was full of laughs! 🐴💙 From quick passes to slow trots, our FFA crews helped bring fun and community spirit to the court. Friday, April 11 No AM bussing for Turtle A 16B or Butterfly 22A *Students on these buses will need a parent/guardian to bring them to school in the morning. Double bus runs PM for Butterfly 22A AND Octopus 24A *Students on these buses will be arriving home later than normal in the afternoon.

Due to the bus driver shortage, the bus schedule will be as follows for the remainder of the week: For April 9 & 10 There will be a double run for bus 22A Butterfly in the afternoon. This will not affect students that go to Trinity Daycare. All other students will be arriving home later than normal. For April 11 There will be no AM bussing for 16 B Turtle AND no AM bussing 22A Butterfly Students on this bus will need a parent/guardian to bring them to school in the morning. Double bus runs PM for Butterfly 22A AND Octopus 24A Students on these buses will be arriving home later than normal in the afternoon.

The next Versiti/RHS Student Leadership blood drive is on Thursday, April 10! Versiti supplies over 65% of blood to hospitals in Michigan, and some hospitals in the state currently have NO units of certain blood types so we need your help!
