Bond Exploration
As we plan for the future of our schools, we want to hear directly from you. Your feedback will guide a $35 million bond proposal being considered for the May 2026 ballot.
The bond proposal will fund exciting changes for our youngest learners and our entire school district. Key elements under consideration include:
A New Elementary School: built on the secondary school site to share resources, foster collaboration, and reduce operating costs.
An Early Childhood Center: created by converting part of the current elementary building into five classrooms for Pre-K, the Great Start Readiness Program, and community daycare.
The bond proposal will require a 4.5 mill increase over the current levy. For the average Reese homeowner, the estimated cost will be approximately $450 per year (around $1.20 per day).
We value your thoughts on these priorities. Please take a few minutes to complete our community survey and share your ideas. You can access the survey by going to www.research.net/r/ReeseCommunitySurvey. The survey is available around the clock NOW through 11:59 p.m. on October 10th.
Your feedback will play a vital role in shaping the future of Reese Public Schools, ensuring that our facilities remain safe, up-to-date, and supportive of student success for years to come.
